I’m turning 49 soon.
And over the years I’ve learned one thing: real health has nothing to do with magazine covers, miracle diets, or “lose 5 kilos by the weekend” promises.
I lived that way myself.
I tried everything that promised fast results: trendy diets, detox plans, calorie tracking, and daily workouts. Sometimes the weight dropped, sometimes it came right back—but nothing changed on the inside. I wasn’t happier. I had more stress, less energy, a sensitive nervous system, and an unpredictable hormonal balance. More than once I spent entire Saturdays in bed just trying to recover. That wasn’t living. That was a constant chase of “fix yourself, because something is missing.”
Only when I got tired of running after perfection did I start looking for what actually works.
I was not looking for quick fixes. Not tricks. Not miracles.
True health began for me the moment I started listening to my body instead of diet rules. I realized that food should provide you strength, not guilt. Your mind requires tranquility, not perpetual stress. I have come to understand that womanhood is not just an outward appearance, but rather a state of being.
Today, I choose a different path.
Simpler. More natural. More intentional.
And that’s why I created HeavyFood Living.
Here I share what supports me even now:
– food that fuels your energy;
– habits that bring balance back;
– that make life lighter;
– and I value real-life experience more than theoretical knowledge from books.
I’m not perfect.
I don’t chase the perfect body or the perfect routine.
But I deeply understand how it feels to be a woman who just wants to feel secure in her body and in her life.
And if you’re here, it means we’re walking the same path.
